Your Business Needs A New Website

    July 14, 2010
  • Raises the hair on the back of your neck to hear that, doesn't it?

But think about putting up a secondary website to attract visitors to your main site.  The practice of "capturing" visitors with one, two, or more small simple websites, each promoting a single aspect of your main business, can be part of a smart overall web traffic strategy.  Extra "feeder websites" can help drive traffic to your main website, adding to your other social media activities such as Facebook, Twitter, email campaigns, and so on.  Putting up one or websites in addition to your main site, each with its own url, can help lure visitors in.

With extra websites, you can also test out different sets of keywords, individual product features, and different offers, to get some new feedback on which marketing tactics are or are not working well, and what products and pricing are or are not creating interest.

Check out the secondary website my staff at PR-123.com just created for our SEO Lesson-A-Week program: http://www.SEO-JO.net.  This is a simple site that features the Lesson Subscription program all by itself, as a stand-alone offer.  It took us only a few days to create and tweak, we're hosting it on our main hosting account with GoDaddy at no additional cost to us, and it's now a second presence out there on the internet, helping to gather interested visitors to our program.

Think about doing the same for your business!
