Are YOU Willing to Be A Leader?

    November 10, 2010
  • In my last blog post, I talk about the importance of knowing how you want your business and brand to make your clients and fans feel. Did you make your list of 10-20 words that describe how you want to make people feel when they meet you, interact with you, listen to you, ask questions of you, hire you, and work with you? And did you discover ways to incorporate these words into your messaging and energy frequency?

The next action steps you can take as a Successful Social CEO is all about mindset. And it's an important step to take.

Are you really willing to step up and be seen, heard, celebrated, and understood as a leader in your industry?

Believe it or not, a lot of female entrepreneurs struggle with being seen and heard. We go into business for ourselves for a reason. Were passionate about what we're doing. And yet there's some part of us that feels terrified of being exposed as a phony or being judged.

Is this an issue for you?

Consider the question seriously. The greatest thing standing between you and success may be YOU.

Explore any resistance that pops up as a result of being seen, heard, and celebrated as the expert you are. Give yourself permission to set those fears free. And then give yourself permission to step forward and claim your rightful role as the social CEO you're meant to be.

This is often a work in progress. Seek out emotional support from trusted friends and colleagues. And celebrate all the work you've done so far to get where you are.

Stay tuned. I'll be sharing more action steps you can take to become a successful Social CEO in the coming weeks.
