Part of the joy I get from working with powerful, trailblazing women entrepreneurs and professionals like you is that I get to witness you breaking down old, aging paradigms that are no longer working for you in favor of defining and building new ways of being and bringing your brilliance to the world.

I have the privilege of being invited into your lives and, by being the observer, I can connect the dots that you yourself may not be able to see. I see you at your bravest and at your most vulnerable, the two states in which you often coexist.
You're at a crossroads as you shake off the leftover "shoulds" and the stale grasp of an excessively masculine corporate culture mindset that's past its prime, sometimes taking steps before knowing for certain whether your next step will land safely, or where.
I also get you, as I was and am, just like you, navigating the same steps, sometimes a few steps ahead, sometimes not. There are always more layers to go through as you - as we - grow into our own magnificence and manifestation of what we want to create on our own terms.
While I am a health, nutrition, and balanced living coach today, I used to be very corporate - a management consultant, actually, with an MBA to boot.
Five years after leaving that world, I’m still shedding that former persona and way of being, layer by layer, moving towards the raw, fully expressed “me” in all my own magnificence. I’m still shedding old belief systems that no longer serve me. Heck - I don’t know if they ever truly did, and they certainly contributed to my own massive health crisis at the time.
And - you know what? - I'm a better rounded, more powerful business person as a result.
See if you can relate to some of these belief systems:
- "I must always work very hard - to the bone, in fact - to succeed. At the expense of my health if necessary."
- "I must fit in."
- "My responsibilities to others come first. I come last."
- "I have to say what is expected, not what I really want to say, so as not to create any ripples in case there are any negative repercussions."
As a result, I was behaving and being in a way that veered me off my true course, to the point where I didn’t know which way was up. My deepest Self, my spirit, was obscured along the way. No surprise that my body wouldn’t stand for it anymore; it brought me to a screeching halt when I was unable to do so on my own.
Our health and happiness are intimately connected to each other, to our belief systems, and to how we express ourselves. And since we spend most of our waking hours expressing ourselves at and through our work, seeing these old belief systems for what they are and shedding them serves us - our bodies, our minds, and our souls - as well as our companies, which can only grow as much as we do.
Because, you see... it’s ALL connected.
So let me ask you:
Which old belief systems are you hanging onto for dear life?
Which ones have you shed already?
Which ones are you ready to let go of?
