After graduating from Fordham with my BA in Art History in 1992 I began my career in cosmetics as head assistant to Bobbi Brown - a position which quickly lead to becoming the first national, then global, makeup artist for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Simultaneously I began my career as a freelance editorial makeup artist in NYC and over the years my artistry and advice have appeared numerous magazines worldwide. In 2000 I launched my own cosmetics company, Alison Raffaele Cosmetics.
