And that, as of a few years ago, there were surprisingly no multiplication tools on the market that really made a girl excited to learn.

But in 2007, Lisa's third-grade daughter, Elise, got Lisa's wheels turning even more. Elise was learning her multiplication tables, and the common tools out there were the traditional flashcards and outdated methods used for decades. Lisa worked with them years ago, and you probably did too when you were a kid. Boring, "you-have-to-use-these" kinds of products. Not inspiring, "you-want-to-have-'em" tools that make you clamor for more.

Flash forward to today, to the Butterfly Junction line of products, custom built for girls ages 7 to 12. Our Multiplication Card Sets and Multiplication Finger Charts are so fun, these girls want to use them and even share with friends. The color and design virtually sings as it pops off the page. Girls see their friends using our products, and their heads turn.

So, what's next? Lisa envisions a world where girls everywhere challenge each other to write 'n' wipe speed challenges, where great music is not just for dancing, but is also for learning, and where technology products build on the foundation Butterfly Junction has already created.
