I grew up on a farm in the late 1940's/50's. Married at the age of 23, moved to the "city" birthed and raised 2 sons. Worked in the field of education for more than 2 decades, retired and came back to my roots of "farming." Now there is a lot of me in all those years between then and now......life, a lot of good, some less than , and all a special gift of knowledge to share and cushion my now time. I'm an avid antique collector ( previous dealer ) love hiking the mountains of Western NC. History , anything past yesterday with Old World being a high point.
