My current collection is "Nouveau Bijoux" inspired from the beautiful art and nature inspired form of the Art Nouveau period. I also have a "Goddess Collection" that is ALL about the metaphysical and healing properties of the hand picked gemstones I have collected over the last year or so. I will also be offering a "Collaborative Collection" (don't quote me on the name QUITE yet... ;) ) for the buyer and I to design a necklace together based using the materials I have availab...

The desire to create this collection stems from the amazing pieces I have made after letting my friends pick from the stones/reclaimed items and settings that I have in my materials collection that upon finishing them, I have been completely enamored by them. To me, the collaboration and ability to allow one to design EXACTLY what they want, have been my most prized and complimented, and desired necklaces I have made! There is something about making a piece of art specifically for someone, thinking of them during the process of production and the energy that transcends into those pieces that I hope to channel into every piece of jewelry I make!
The name "Alligator Moon" comes from a painting my daughter, Lola, who is now 5, created 2 years ago. Upon finishing her masterpiece, I asked her what it was she painted, and, without pause, she replied "It's an alligator moon!" .... I was floored. AND, inspired. The innocence and carefree art that is produced from children is awe inspiring and reminds me of how Picasso so eloquently put it - "Every child is born an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist' - Picasso. It is true - the most potent muse of all is our own inner child.
