My work history involves small businesses, corporations and the government. I enjoy working with individuals on their personal and professional development. My career path began in the fitness industry over 20 years ago in the Chicago area. Along the way I have lived in California, Washington and Arizona gathering legal experience with large corporations and the government. My educational background is in Education, Training and Development. I later studied Organizational Behavior at the masters level and became a certified coach through Martha Beck's program applying her methods in a corporation. I had a few goals I wanted to achieve so I resigned from my corporate role in order to focus on them. I built my coaching practice into a full-time gig, wrote and published my first book, began writing for publications and studied the eight limbs of yoga becoming a registered yoga teacher.
I had another dream to find my soul mate which is still unfolding as part of my journey.
My business is organic simply because I enjoy the freedom to serve my three beautiful daughters. Being an entrepreneur has allowed me to spend with my daughters and at times scrambling for grocery money which in the end keeps me focused on what matters most. My yoga practice keeps my mind at ease and my running schedule provides me energy. I enjoy ditching my cell phone for hours and masterminding for me is like coloring with every crayon in the 120 count box.
My first book is a perfect summary of my coaching style. I like to keep it simple and light. I believe my clients have the answers in between their intense justifications and "I don't know" answers. We do know what our heart's desires are and at times we have to at least try them to see where else it leads us. Meaning the answers may not be just around the corner. It may be a couple of turns before we get there. Sometimes we even make four left turns but discovering ourselves is what the trip was for and adding new experiences to our life. Never lose hope or give up on love.
I enjoy leading master minding groups, world cafe discussions and leading people through the steps of attracting their perfect customer, relationship or designing their big hairy audacious goals.
My current practice is working with individuals, groups or being a guest speaker. I enjoy watching people light their passion and I believe my gift to the world is to show people how to keep that flame strong connecting to the universe and resourceful as to be helpful. We think of the fire element as the sun, heat, fuel and in our darkest form it is too much, destructive and scary. My path has taken me around the bend and I believe connecting with our elements and our gifts will align us with the universe to serve as God created us. If we came into the world with a specific set of instructions imagine how uneventful our lives would be. It would be like reading the same book or watching the same movie for the rest of your life.
Now get out there and make it a blissful day. Do kind things without people knowing it. Hold your chest open and relax your eyes the next time you speak with another human being. Ahh, now watch and see magical things happen. Have you ever seen two dogs fight? They stare each other down and carefully sniff holding their bodies quick to react, to bite, to defend themselves. I used to watch this body language every day in my corporate experience even though we were all on the same team. And we have to question why there is so much stress related illness in our families and communities? Look at it this way. Being more loving and less violent with your thoughts, words and actions will add years to your life and everyone around you.
