All women are beautiful because we are women. Unfortunately too many of us live with self-imposed judgments, competitions with one another, insecurity, the inability to see their own gifts, and continuous self-defeating talk to ourselves and our peers.
My clients will replace previous beliefs working against them with more supportive behaviors and a completely new approach toward living the life they always hoped for. Through our coaching relationship combined with fieldwork specific to their needs, clients realize the importance of loving themselves first to develop the beautiful, brilliant, and balanced relationship with themselves necessary to fulfill their purpose.
Since I was a child I've been active in my own self-improvement. There was never a lack of self-motivation from me. I remember thinking that at beginning of each school year I would come back better than the year before. I suppose that was rooted in my own issues with striving for perfection and a lack of self-confidence. It wasn't until later in life that I came to learn that the goal of perfection is a fruitless one and that the only 'perfect' thing is the beautiful process of learning from each mistake.
Before pursuing my Advanced Life Coach Certification I worked in Marketing and Graphic Design. I’ve always been a creative person, using art making as a way to cope with life’s problems as a child. I quickly got interested in photography at age ten, when I received my first camera. Though drawing and photography I could somehow transform my imagination into reality. As time went by and I got older my focus shifted to making money—art could wait. After all, I had to pull myself up from poverty and into a new life. So I worked hard and chased happiness with no clue that it was always within me. Looking back I realize I was insecure, stressed, over worked, and wasn’t caring for myself. This really had little to do with my career choice but more of my mental state and previous thought patterns that were working against me. Proving to me that it’s not what you do, but how you do it.
I now look back at my past through a different lens, one that shows me that everything I went through was for a reason and that it all contributed to making me the compassionate, beautiful, and caring person I am today. I now realize the qualities that make me different deserve to be celebrated, just as they are for us all. This is just another reason I am so pleased to be a Life Coach. I love inspiring and empowering people around me. It was only a matter of time that my path would lead to this.
