Elizabeth is a 40 year old mom of four boys under age 15 and is the Founder and CEO of Best Ever YOU, LLC, Maine Cookie Company, a Television Producer/On-Air Personality and Children’s book author.
Elizabeth is a children's book author and entrepreneur with a strong focus on public relations, media and product promotions. The website also has over 30 advisors on the site who offer expert advice to readers. The company has launched into many new media directions including television. Best Ever You produces and airs 4 minute segments on Better Homes and Garden’s “Better” TV show on WPXT-Maine and will soon have a 30 minute TV show.

All are available on Best Ever YOU.
Still, the most important role is Elizabeth’s life is that of being a mom of four boys under age 14 and wife to Peter. Through her 10 years as a work-from-home mom she knows exactly what women go through to stay in touch with the world outside. Her children are all involved in school, sports and activities and this alone could be a full-time job! It is an ambitious family for sure. Their youngest son Quaid Guarino was just featured in many newspapers and television stations for his role with LEGO, and the entire family was the featured family in the Maine Turnpike Authority’s EZ-Pass Commercials and ads.
Somewhere in all of this, there is still time to make cookies! Everyone’s priority, right? Well, while at home for those 10 years, she started Maine Cookie Company in 2002. Elizabeth and her husband Peter, have handmade and donated over 70,000 cookies to kids in connection with children’s literacy and held hundreds of story times. The company has made famous cookie fans, but mostly only makes cookies now upon special requests. The cookies are always nut free, because Elizabeth has life-threatening allergies to all nuts and shellfish as well as many other foods.
Elizabeth is currently featured on the MedicAlert.org and was featured in the book “Just One of the Gang” by Gina Clowes featuring Elizabeth and sports star Jerome Bettis and others.
In 2009, Elizabeth’s children’s book series was launched by Bryson Taylor Publishing. “Blueberry – A Cat’s Eye View of Maine” is the first in the series that vow to teach kids about geography “one cat and one state at a time.” Elizabeth is also former child actor/model and has been in hundreds of TV commercials and appeared on billboards and magazines, including "Teen", Happy Joes, Skate Ranch, Ing’s Skating Palace, The Maine Turnpike, Snap Fitness, Hurley Travel, Medic Alert and more. She was Miss Iowa Teen in 1988 and Mrs Maine USA in 2006. Elizabeth’s acting and commercial resume is on IMDb. Most recently, Elizabeth played Suzanne in the movie “Influenced.”
At the age of 18, her parents went bankrupt and Elizabeth spiraled and was left dazed and confused, after their family business collapsed. Elizabeth put herself through college and was a broadcast journalist in Illinois at WQAD and Iowa TV-11 for a number of years. Elizabeth’s father Jim Hamilton is a 5 year stroke survivor (see
http://www.mrsmaineus.blogspot.com) and Elizabeth’s mom, Carolyn Hamilton is the mom of 10 children. Both are no stranger to Hollywood, as Elizabeth’s parents both an extensive background. Fast forward a few years.......
In 2004 the family moved from Truckee, California (Lake Tahoe) to Falmouth, Maine. In 2006, she worked as a reporter at WGME-TV and she entered the Mrs. Maine USA pageant and won. The process opened the doors and foundation for Best Ever You to come to life. Since 2006, Elizabeth has received over 150,000 emails from women and men around the country. She quickly discovered a number of people were following her story and dreams. However, Elizabeth began to see a need for women to have a place where many aspects of life's issues were covered, thus Best Ever YOU was born. Now in 2010, Best Ever YOU has grown into an international multi-media company with only more Best Ever to follow in the years to come. She began her college career at age 13, after scoring a near perfect on the college SATs. She graduated a year early from both high school and college, with honors. Elizabeth is a 1991 graduate of St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa and holds a B.A. in Mass Communications, cum laude. .
