Inspired by japanese culture icons, the ninja and the geisha, ninsha was created. The flow and quickness of the ninja blended with the creative and beautiful geisha. I have been involved with the Ourglass Studio&Gallery for seven years. I started with flamework using borosilicate glass to make jewelry. Last Spring, i decided i wanted to learn how to fuse glass. I wanted to make belt buckles. Now I am creating a versatile glass belt buckles that just keep evolving. ALL ONE*OF*A*KIND. Some of them have flamework skills added, some have hand-engraved patterns, and some i use the ringsaw. I have just did some new buckles using powdered glass and stencil techniques. Working on the photos. I have also started beveling the edges of some layered buckles for a more angular/masculine look. fun fun fun. love this job!!!!
