Owner & Chief Style Officer Holly Bretschneider opened her first store in 2002, after spending 10 years as the Vice President & General Counsel of a health plan in Northern California. Having been bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, and after spending six months preparing a business plan,she decided to turn her love for design and paper into a retail business. Her Chapel Hill store has earned the Best New Business Award from the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce and was voted the Best Gift & Stationery Store by Citysearch users. In 2006, she opened her second location in Charlotte, North Carolina, which has been awarded the Best Place to Buy Paper Goods by Charlotte Magazine, the Best Gift & Stationery Store by Citysearch users, and the best place for wedding invitations by Bride's Book readers.
