I love to capture the energy of the human form in my paintings, especially the curves of the female body. Armed with a palette knife and acrylic paint I layer color endlessly to achieve the desired depth and texture I crave. By focusing on one portion of the body I am able to create semi-abstract work that allows the viewer to get lost in the beautiful simplicity of a bend, twist, or curve of the body. Whether I use fiery reds or moody blues, colors dominate my work conveying the deep emotions and passion that I swim in. My motto is carpe diem(seize the day) because life is too short not to pursue your passion.
