Chef JoAnna is a classically-trained chef who specializes in at-home fine dining. Like the reknown Julia Child, JoAnna first attended culinary school in her early 30's, and started cooking professionally soon after. While attending culinary school in Santa Monica, CA, she earned a 4.0 GPA as well as certifications in Nutrition, Cost Control, Culinary Management and Safety & Sanitation. Originally from Chicago, Chef JoAnna moved from Los Angeles to Nashville to establish a "Bed & Bistro" with an on-site restaurant and organic farm in Prospect, TN.

Chef JoAnna relocated to Tennessee in October, 2008 to start the next phase of her professional endeavors. In less than a year, along with her husband, Kelly Mohan, she has established "Mockingbird Acres" a Bed & Bistro on an Organic farm in Middle Tennessee.

-- Consultation -- Act as your liaison to the caterer/party planner you hire., review your menu and venue layout to make sure that it fits with the style of service you want to provide. She can also appear on-site to manage service staff and ensure that beautiful, delicious plates & platters are served to your guests.
-- Hostess Services -- Greet guests, introduce newcomers to other guests, pass hors d'oeuvres, clear glasses/plates, keep drinks filled, keep buffet neat, run errands as needed. When the event ends, assist guests with transportation, assist host in clean-up, and perform any other tasks as needed.
