I learned pharmacy the old fashioned way--at my mother's knee. She became a pharmacist in 1956 and things were different then: antibiotics were new and steroids had just been marketed. Heart issues were treated with digitalis, which grew in my grandmother's garden. Having practised as a pharmacist myself for over 30 years, I have blended my lifetime of knowledge in compounding and natural therapy with a sense of what my clients need.. and really want.
