Through my professional experience as a special education teacher for students with mild learning challenges and behavioral issues, I learned about neuroscience and how to apply principles related to mediated learning in the classroom. As I taught students by asking them questions to find the answers within their own store of knowledge, it was fascinating to observed them learn how to think as their writing and reading skills were significantly changed.
