Mixology was initially conceptualized five years ago when the President of Mixology DC, and I reconnected at an international matchmaking conference. We recognized that we have over twelve years of experience in the dating industry, have a client base that spans from Washington DC to San Francisco, and have been responsible for countless lasting relationships nationwide. Mixology works with clients in DC, NYC, San Francisco, and most recently, Los Angeles.

My partner and I acknowledged two somewhat conflicting facts: the success of in-person matchmaking services over the online dating services is uncontestable, and there is an absence of such services in the Gay and Lesbian community.

The seed was planted then and after three years of research, skill refinement, business planning, and finance securing, the idea to bring personalized dating services to the Gay and Lesbian community became a reality.

I work as, among other things, the Executive Director and lead dating donsultant to Mixology's members in the DC area and beyond. I thrive on the challenges presented by the unique tastes and preferences of each member within our diverse client base. That passion, combined with my intuitive nature and pursuit of success, drives me to customize my personal coaching to help each client navigate the general ups and downs of dating.

Previously, I was Senior Director at an international matchmaking agency in San Francisco. I personally interviewed and matched my clients based on their criteria and goals in dating. After almost five years, I was one of the top directors recognized for my work throughout the company. In 2008, I was honored with the annual Passion Award for my dedication to my clients' success and commitment to new business expansion.

I have a degree in psychology from American University in Washington DC and additional relationship based coursework from University of New South Wales, Syndey. I reside in West Hollywood and Washington DC (part time).
