CityMum was started by New York City based mother, Micaéla Birmingham, inventor of the CityShade. She created this product for her own baby after being fed-up with shading her stroller with a blanket. Soon, other mothers started stopping her on the street asking where they could buy this stylish shade.
Since then, the CityShade has been refined and tested by mothers and fathers throughout North America and is now available world wide.
