I have been a licensed nail specialist for ten years, and felt that women deserved to have their own personal nail specialist to cater to their every need, instead of them just being a name on a sign in sheet. I have been a licensed nail specialist for ten years, and felt that women deserved to have their own personal nail specialist to cater to their every need, instead of them just being a name on a sign in sheet. In 2005, I decided to seriously pursue a career in the nail industry and I spent three and a half years molding and shaping my services around my clients’ feedback. After perfecting my ultimate rejuvenation ninety minute pedicure and ultimate re-hydration manicure, I decided to open my own shop in the fall of 2008 so I could take my services to an even higher level. I wanted to have complete control of the décor, music, privacy and beverages being served to ensure my clients’ ultimate happiness and satisfaction. Located in the heart of Broad Ripple Village at 845 East 65th Street, Monicure Palace was born in a private studio with walls of burgundy, warm gold and purple patterns in the windows and pillows, golden pedestals, and a wine colored leather recliner in place of the average pedicure chair.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, I am proud to be an independent, female business owner, but I credit my clients with my success. My clients named my manicures and pedicures the ‘Monicure’ so I decided to create an entire business around the idea of really putting the client first, and providing them with the royal treatment right down to the style and colors I decorated the shop with. Services beyond the above-mentioned pedicure and manicure include custom sets of acrylic and pink and white nails, No-Chip manicures, Minx nails, Gel overlays, Shellac manicures, customized sugar scrubs, exclusive hand and feet products, personalized gift certificates, and wedding packages; as well as music, relaxation, your beverage of choice and detailed personal attention during your services. Appearance means alot to me, so every detail must be perfect. I want my clients to experience luxury at my nail spa.
Monicure Palace truly provides a “royal treat for your hands and feet.” In fact, after just eight months of being open, Monicure Palace won WRTV6’s “A-list, Best Mani Pedi” award thanks to the overwhelming response from my clientele. I always book appointments around my clients’ schedules because I truly value them, and I urge people to let me know what I can do for them and I find a way to work around their busy schedules.
This truly inspiring business success story is one that surely will not go unnoticed. To book your appointment, call Monicure Palace today at 317.833.8043 or visit
