I was born and raised in Cuba in a wonderful family of fashionistas. My great-grandmother used to make clothes for all the posh and stylish ladies in my town. She was a perfectionist that knew her craft and women loved to wear her dresses. This led to her establishing her own school where she taught other women how to become incredible tailors like she was. Needless to say, fashion became the source of income for all the women in my family until I came along. I broke the cycle by moving to the U.S. and studying Mass Communications and Journalism. After ten years of working in corporate America for prestigious advertising agencies such as Young & Rubicam and well-known retail stores such as Macy's, I realized I couldn't stay away from the family tradition, and one way or another I had to get back to my fashion roots.
Since I was a teenager, I've been shopping for friends and family members. I love helping people and nothing makes me happier than knowing I've made a difference in people's lives. So adding love for fashion + love for people + love for helping, led to my decision to offer my services to the public. In the process to become a wardrobe consultant, I was lucky enough to receive formal training from one of the best wardrobe consultants in the US: Johanna Keen. Prior to opening her own agency, "The Keen Agency," Johanna spent years developing efficient wardrobe consulting methods that are now the base for helping clients achieve practical everyday wardrobes.
I'm an active member in the community and love helping charities by volunteering my services. Contact me if you need my help. If I have the time, I'll join you in making a difference. I am also a member of my local Chamber of Commerce, the UNICEF, and just recently got accepted into the distinguished National Association of Professional Women (NAPW).
