Small businesses in the hospitality industry such as Convention and Visitors' Bureus (CVB's), meeting, conference, and special event planning companies, catering companies, travel and tourism agencies, and independent meeting planners will also gain a greater understanding in how to keep conference, meeting, convention attendees and tourists informed about their perosnal safety while visiting their destination.

ETC also offers similar training to local governments and jurisdications interested in working with businesses, organizations, and citizens/residents to develop a plan of action in the event of a natural or man-made emergencies or un-safe situations such as domestic or workplace violence.

Training consists of classroom, role-play, table-top excersizes, and the opportunity for participants to create the basis for their own plan to implement when they get back to home base. ETC offers follow-on training upon request. Training is offered at conference and specially presented workshops, or can be presented privately upon request*.

Additionally, ETC has formed Neighbors for Neighbors, a non-profit organization providing workshops to assist underserved communities in preparing a home emergency preparedness kit and a plan of action for their household.
