I was born in Vietnam, but moved to the US in 1975 when I was 8. Even though I was raised in the US, I was still brought up with old traditions from Vietnam; which means women are to be seen not heard. Unfortunately for my parents, being different, I took off to NY at 16 to pursue fashion design. I decided to get into advertising & marketing instead. In 2004, I became a Life Extensionist. "It's not what you know, but who you know, so I decided on August of 2006, I started my own communications relations consultancy, kNOw-Aging, Inc.. Today, I'm president of Association for Women in Communications (AWC) South Florida Chapter.
My mantra is "what are you afraid of?" Nothing!
I pass this mantra on to my 15 yr old son.
